Carolina Forest

Carolina Forest is a tract of land totaling approximately 12,000 acres. It is located just minutes for Myrtle Beach’s new Coastal Grand Mall, Myrtle Beach International Airport, many golf courses, Broadway at the Beach, great restaurants, entertainment and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. There will be approximately forty residential neighborhoods containing a multitude of home styles affordable to nearly every home buyer. When completed, it is estimated to have approximately 26,000 homes with an anticipated population of 56,000 people.

The school system in Carolina Forest is among the top schools in South Carolina. The area currently has an elementary, middle, and high school in place, and there is additional land allocated for future expansion as it becomes necessary.

Carolina Forest was designed to maintain approximately 46% of the tract as a conservation area to protect the natural beauty and the wildlife of South Carolina. In addition to the shopping center at the highway 501 entrance, there are plans to build a “town center” at the opposite end of Carolina Forest. This center will contain numerous shops, restaurants, boutiques, and more. From this location it is just a short drive to the places mentioned in the first paragraph. You can reach these destinations by taking the new International Drive across highway 31 where it merges with the Robert Grissom Parkway. From there it is just minutes nearly anything you could want. If you elect to take highway 31 north or south, you can be in North Myrtle Beach, Little River, Myrtle Beach or Surfside Beach within a few minutes.
