Hampton Plantation is a protected site of a highly respected 18th century rice plantation. The Colonial mansion, restored and preserved for architectural interpretation, is the centerpiece of this historic site. The halls of Hampton had welcomed famous figures over time, including George Washington and Francis Marion. Myrtle Beach, SC 29575

Located in the heart of the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach State Park is one of the most popular public beaches along the South Carolina coast. This 312-acre oceanfront park, was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and plays a major role in preserving and maintaining a portion of the natural heritage of the South Carolina coastline. The park includes 350 campsites, five cabins, nearly a mile of beach, picnic areas, a fishing pier and nature center. The nature trail provides a rare opportunity to see one of the last maritime forests on the northern coast of South Carolina. The forest is a Heritage Trust Site.
