Littering is illegal. No glass containers are allowed on our beaches. Discharging fireworks in the city limits of area municipalities is illegal.

Auto Registration

A South Carolina license tag must be secured within 30 days of relocation. You”ll need to provide a paid tax receipt, proof of insurance, your title and $24 registration fee. As far as your actual license goes, out of state drivers licenses are valid  for 90 days, then, a visual exam, social security card and $10 gets you an SC drivers license.

State Traffic Laws

Seat belts must be worn at all times. Motorcycles must use headlights at all times. Children under 6 must be restrained at all times in a moving vehicle. Right turns can be made on red, unless otherwise posted.
